There really hasn’t been time to catch our breaths as the selection panel for the coaching department assembled in early September and used every spare second to promote, meet and secure the direction for the season ahead.
The Lalor Football Club is pleased to announce that Gary Cutler has been appointed to the role of Head Coach for the 2019 season.
Gary brings with him a wealth of experience in development and growth across a varied number of clubs. A meet the coaches afternoon is being planned for mid-October and details will follow shortly.
Gary also brings with him a team of assistant coaches and support staff that will be looking over the entire playing department and focusing on growth from development grades to ensure the continued organic growth of our club.
Players and committee are preparing to secure their places within the clubs structure at Sundays AGM (23.09.2018) and a number of new directions for the clubs immediate growth will shape Sydney Crescent for generations to come, particularity with support from members, supporters and commercial partners.
2017/18 came with some enormous challenges and without the support of the committee, players and coaching staff, the club would not be in the viable position we are now placed.
A huge thank you is extended to Dean Grainger who accepted a role with limited certainty and player departures that was unprecedented.
Dean has indicated he will be looking to spend a year away from football and we are proud that he played such an important part in establishing the clubs on-field department, a field that he shared his junior footy with and undoubtly played a huge with his own journey through the game.
AGM is scheduled for 10.00am, 23.09.2018 at the Sydney Crescent social rooms.
